The best table size depends on the number of people you seat most often and the available room around the table. As a practical guide, allow approximately 60 cm of tabletop length for each person and ideally at least 80–90 cm of free space around the table for comfortable movement and chair access.

These are not defects—they are part of the authentic character of real wood. Customers who prefer a cleaner tabletop with fewer visible knots can mention this preference when ordering; availability always depends on the natural material.

For four people, 120–140 cm is usually sufficient. For six people, choose approximately 160–180 cm; for eight people, 200–220 cm; and for ten people, around 240–260 cm. Always consider the base design, chair width and available space around the table.
How much space should I leave around the table?
We recommend approximately 80–90 cm between the tabletop and nearby walls or furniture. This provides space to move chairs and walk around the dining area comfortably.
Is the tabletop made from real solid oak?
Yes. The tabletop is made from solid oak, not an oak-look foil or thin decorative surface. Natural grain, knots and colour variation are therefore expected.
Is every table unique?
Yes. Oak is a natural material, so each tabletop has its own grain, structure, knots and subtle tonal differences. Product photographs illustrate the overall style, but the exact wood pattern will be unique.
Can I choose a tabletop without knots?
You can request a cleaner selection with fewer visible knots and cracks. We will take the preference into account, although the final result always depends on the naturally available oak boards.
What is the difference between a live edge and a straight edge?
A live edge follows the natural shape of the wood and creates a more organic, rustic look. A straight edge is precisely cut for a clean and modern silhouette.
Can the dimensions be customised?

Does the table require assembly?
The tabletop and steel base are generally delivered separately for safer transport. Assembly is straightforward: position the base, align it with the prepared fixing points and securely attach it using the supplied hardware.

Use a soft damp cloth and mild cleaning products suitable for oiled wood. Avoid abrasive cleaners, excessive water and direct contact with very hot objects. The protective oil can be renewed when necessary.
Can small scratches or glass marks be repaired?
In many cases, yes. One advantage of solid oak is that local marks can often be lightly sanded and the protective oil reapplied. Always test the procedure carefully or contact us for advice first.
How long does production take?
Our furniture is made to order. The usual production and delivery estimate is approximately 4–7 weeks, although the exact timing may vary according to the model, dimensions, destination and current workload.
